  Tiffani Jenée

BIOGRAPHY

Tiffani Jenée, is a force to be reckoned with. With powerhouse vocals and a soulful performance, this pop-rock artist has roots that go back to her early days, growing up in the heartland of California, The Antelope Valley. While people have compared her to Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin and Alanis Morissette, it has been said that, like them, she has a her own unique sound. Many people say it is surprising to hear such a big voice from a small girl. While her voice is her main instrument, she showcases her other musical talents, piano, guitar, and ukulele on her Instagram page and on her YouTube channel, which has acquired over 80,000 views. She graduated with cum laude from Antelope Valley College and now is a full-time music instructor, specializing in voice, at Mel Booker Music, a well-established and one of the most reputable and respected music schools in the Antelope Valley.

Tiffani performs in shows in and around the Los Angeles area. She has played in numerous clubs in Hollywood, such have been located on the famous Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard. She plays annually at the Antelope Valley Fair and Neilstock Music Festival. She has been featured in her home town at clubs, such at Bex Bar and Grill, The Bravery, Lucky Luke's Brewery, Kinetics, Big Shotz, Pour d'Vino and Butler's Coffee. Tiffani has also performed in world wide events, such as the annual Kokodo Jujutsu Taikai, where she performed in Canada and in Japan. In June 2017, she was featured in the Antelope Valley Press for her appearance at Thunder on the Lot and again that month for the release of her self-titled EP. The media has raved about the EP, saying "(The music) made me want to get up out of my chair and start jumping around the first time I listened to it!"-IndieNation

Tiffani’s love of music showed at a very early age. Inspired by pop icon, Madonna, she knew from the age of four that singing was her future. She remembers driving along with her mom, when she heard Madonna come on the radio and was so moved by the beat of the music, that she knew, without a doubt, that music was what she wanted to devote her life to. Growing up with a musician as a father, Tiffani has been saturated in music for as long as she can remember. Beginning her journey as a songwriter at the young age of 10, she would often wake up as a child with unwritten songs in her head and could not fall back asleep until they were written. She had always wanted to learn to play instruments to accompany her voice. While her dad plays guitar and piano, he didn’t have much patience for teaching. So, once she got to college, she enrolled in an introductory piano class, where she learned the basics about chord structure. After the class was over, she continued to teach herself by ear for several years. Later, to hone her piano skills, she traded out voice lessons for piano lessons with the keyboardist in her band, Mark Enevoldsen, son of Bob Enevoldsen, the famous jazz saxophonist of the 50's.

In her personal life, Tiffani is a martial artist, holding two black belts in different Japanese disciplines that she has been studying since age 13. She believes that young girls need to have strong female role models and she tries to embody that strength through her training. Martial arts has taught her many life lessons, one of which, is persistence. When you fail, try and try again. You will always succeed, as long as you never give up on yourself.
Tiffani is very big on giving back to the world. Most everyone that knows her, knows that she is an avid animal rights activist. As well as being vegetarian for the latter half of her life, she also manages multiple animal rights fan pages, one of which helps to connect fosters, rescues and donors to the animals that are in jeopardy of being euthanized at the local animal shelter. She likes to spend her free time doing things that are beneficial to the environment and humankind. She has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, building houses for disabled veterans, and spent a month living at an orphanage, in a small village in the Kampong Chhnang Province of Cambodia, teaching the children English. She continues her work with the orphanage, by doing fundraisers and toy drives for them.

Driven by passion, Tiffani Jenée is a person that follows the fire inside her to make her dreams come true. Once she has set her mind to something, she will not give up on it until she succeeds. Music is not void of that drive. Music has been her love since childhood and it will continue to be so.
